Softech named “Software Outsourcing Project of the Year”

Transylvanian IT company Softech has announced that it has won the “Software Outsourcing Project of The Year” award at the 2021 ANIS Gala for Romania’s IT Industry Excellence Awards. This award recognizes the Kolozsvár/Cluj Napoca-based company’s software solution that proved to be a highly effective tool during the pandemic in 2020.

Along with its effectiveness, the complex, multiplatform management system developed by Softech proved to be an overall safety catalyst due to its seamless integration of IoT devices, sensors and industrial equipment with a cloud-based system and real field units, the seven-person jury found.

“It is a distinction that truly compliments a software development team’s performance and the way in which software outsourcing cooperation is fine-tuned on a daily basis. We place great value on the work that ANIS does in Romania for the development of the IT industry, and we hereby congratulate the organization for its impressive projects and results,” said Levente Szélyes, CEO and founder of Softech, according to the press release.

The 23-year-old Hungarian software development company has been included in the FT 1000 — a list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies compiled by the UK’s Financial Times and American research company Statista.com. Softech is one of the five IT companies from Romania that made it onto the list.

Founded in 1998, ANIS (the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry in Romania) is an active member of Digital Europe and Concordia. It currently has about 140 members, companies founded in Romania using both domestic and foreign capital.
