The National Council for Combating Discrimination (CNCD in Romanian) fined the Dinamo Bucharest football club and its supporters RON 5,000 (EUR 1,030) for the anti-Hungarian slogans shouted during a game against Sepsi OSK one year ago.
According to the decision of CNCD, the slogans shouted at the match on December 13, 2019, such as
“Out, out with the Hungarians from the country!”
are discriminatory and violate the right to dignity of the citizens of Romania belonging to the Hungarian minority.
Because of the above, the anti-discrimination council sanctioned Dinamo Bucharest and the club’s supporters, called Familia PCH, with a fine of RON 5,000. The decision was adopted unanimously. (Agerpres)
