Hungarian low-budget airline Wizz Air launched on Tuesday two weekly direct flights from Kolozsvár/Cluj-Napoca to Lyon, France. Wizz Air also said in a statement that it will deploy the sixth Airbus A320 narrow-body passenger plane to its Kolozsvár base of operations. Flights will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays with prices starting at RON 109 (EUR 23). The first flight had 120 passengers. In the first ten months of the year Wizz Air had over seven million passengers flying in and out of Romania, a 13% increase over the same period of 2017.
