Two Romanian robbers wearing balaclavas entered a bakery in the Sicilian village of Riposto and after threatening the owner’s wife with a handgun made away with a scale used to measure the merchandise – presumably mistaking it for the cash register, local news portal Catania Today writes.
The robbers (aged 27 and 18) tried to escape on a scooter but were shortly apprehended by Italian police, detained and charged with aggravated robbery.
