Coronavirus: Romania one of countries suspected of infection

According to the Sunday report of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Romania is a country now suspected of infection. Other suspected states are: Brazil, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Republic of Fiji, Greece, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Israel, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, North Korea, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Turkey.

The number of persons infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours has increased. According to the cumulative official data of The New York Times on Sunday, there have been 361 deaths and 332 people cured so far. On Sunday, the first non-Chinese victim of the disease, a 44-year-old Thai citizen died; the deceased’s partner is also sick and originates from Vuhan, the epicenter of the infection.

In the last 24 hours, the number of infection cases has risen by 2,000, according to the official Chinese reports; the cumulative data of the World Health Organization shows the number of sick persons to be 14,380. The majority of the cases are in China, with only approximately 100 cases registered in 23 other states. There are certified cases of infection in the following countries and regions: Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Macau, Russia, France, United States, South Korea, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Great Britain, Vietnam, Italy, India, Philippines, Nepal, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Finland, Sweden and Spain.

China requested the help of the European Union to urgently buy the necessary sanitary equipment and also ordered a new hospital to be built in ten days .

China reported that starting this week, 1,400 military doctors will be on duty as well.
