The Bihar/Bihor county chapter of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (RMDSZ) supports Hunor Kelemen’s third run for presidency, the county chapter president Attila Cseke said after a meeting of the leadership.
Hunor Kelemen (51) has a degree in veterinary medicine and philosophy and is a member of parliament for his party since 2000, twice minister of culture and has already served two terms as president since 2011. The next electoral congress of the party will be held on Kolozsvár/Cluj in February. So far three other county chapters of the party have said they would support Kelemen’s candidature.
