Amputees will no longer have to submit to bi-annual check-ups in order to keep their disability pensions, Romanian Labour Minister Marius Budăi announced on Friday.
He said the change will affect amputees and those born without a limb who receive category 1 disability pensions, some 18,000 persons. The ministry decree will be signed on Tuesday.
