The firefighters from Kolozsvár/Cluj-Napoca intervened on Tuesday to save an exhausted swan, which was floating among the garbage in the accumulation lake from Szászfenes/Floreşti, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) from Kolozs (Cluj) County said.
“The swan was observed by passers-by, who announced […] that it was floating exhausted among the trash near the settling zone of the dam,” ISU Kolozs announced.
The firefighters reached the bird using a lifeboat and transported it to the animal clinic of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Kolozsvár.
