The Western Romanian city of Arad received this year’s Christmas tree, which is already in front of the City Hall. The 20-meter fir came from the Western Carpathians and as is usual, its decorations will be officially switched on at 18:00 hours on December 5th, just in time for Santa Klaus’ arrival. Popular children’s music group Gașca Zurli will perform at the festivity. This year – for the first time – the tree will be with energy-saving LED bulbs.
The Arad municipality will also install another 12 Christmas trees across town.
